League Rules
General Rules
- All matches start at 2000 at the home teams dartboard. Ask if you don't know where it is, normally the bar.
- If a team cannot play a match they can postponed as long as they give 24 hrs notice. If 24 hrs notice is not given then the opposing team can choose to take the walkover.
- It is expected that the team who postponed the initial fixture to reschedule the next match. If the match is never played then the points go to the team which did not cancel.
- Captains should inform me of the final result of the match ASAP (by email or using the submit a result page on the website). Any high checkouts / 180s / short legs for the hall of fame should also be included.
Gameplay
- 8 players in a team playing 8 best of 3 leg 501, double out, matches. Closest to bull to determine who starts for each individual game.
- One beer leg from 1001, is played in reverse order of individual matches after match 4. The losing team buy their opponents a beer.
- If a team does not have 8 players for the beer leg they play as normal, but rotate with fewer players . Teams must not draft in extra players who are not playing in the match. If the team with reduced players loses they must cover the absent players drink.
- The beer leg does not count in the match score so a 4 - 4 draw is possible.
- If time is running out for the match the captains can decide mutually to switch games to 301, or best of 1 leg or another agreed alternative.
- If a leg is taking too long due to poor doubling, closest to bull should be played to determine the leg winner.
- Games can be played without the full 8 on one side if so wished but any matches where a player is not present will result in a 2-0 loss.
Rescheduling Rules
Due to problems arising with rescheduling of darts fixtures a new set of rules has been devised for rescheduling.
******* If the fixture was due to be played last term then the team who did not postpone should provide the postponing captain with three dates up until the 19th February. This gives a 5 week timeframe for fixtures to be decided. The deadline for the three dates to be communicated to the captain who postponed is 2000 on the 23rd January, otherwise roles are reversed as above. If I do not receive news of the new scheduled date for the fixture by 2000 on the 29th January, the game will be declared a draw. *******
- Teams attempt to mutually agree a date for rescheduling a game. This should be done IMMEDIATELY and not a few weeks later.
- If teams cannot mutually agree a date, the team who DID NOT postpone should pick 3 DATES within a timeframe of THREE WEEKS from the date the match was supposed to be arranged. No two of these dates must be on the same day of the week for obvious reasons.
- These three dates must be decided and the match date confirmed and communicated to me before the following Monday.
- If dates are not given to the team who postponed by 2000 on the following Monday then positions reverse and the team who postponed have until 2000 on the Wednesday of that week, ie. 9 days after the fixture was scheduled to be played, to submit 3 dates to their opponents.
- In either situation the opposing team should agree to one of the three dates within 48 hours of being sent them, or concede the walkover.
- If I do not receive a result by 3 weeks after the deadline, or am not informed that the game is to be played imminently, the game will be declared a draw.

- If the team loses 7 - 1 the individual who won is owed a drink by all those in the team.
